The name OrDio is derived from Original and Studio, embodying the brand’s vision and expectations for the world.
In the wake of the Industrial Revolution, the once-intimate relationship between people and objects has gradually become blurred, even losing its focus. Yet no matter how many layers of novelty or added value a product may carry, OrDio continues to believe that creation should always return to its original intention—to resist the distractions along the way and to remain honest with the work itself.
Founded in the summer of 2016, the brand began as a creative space dedicated to experiments in scent. However, the sudden passing of the founder’s mother brought the original plans to a halt. While staying in Taiwan to accompany his father, he began to immerse himself deeply in the world of perfumery.
After more than two years of exploration and encounters with over 400 different fragrance materials, his understanding and approach to perfumery gradually took shape. From this journey, OrDioLab was re-established, with a renewed vision of expressing the beauty of scent in a more delicate and natural way.
At OrDio, we respect every creation, every scent, and every commission. We are not interested in choosing one out of a hundred. Instead, we believe in taking that one and refining it until it becomes a hundred percent.
For every scent, we seek the role and destination where it belongs. And for every unique individual, we hope to discover a fragrance capable of bringing memories back to life.
